Simone Inzaghi left him as Inter manager by co-confessional after the UEFA Champions League against Paris Saint-Germain.
Inter Milan and Simone Inzaghi’s decision to separate the decision was taken after a meeting between the two sides on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. The Italian appointed by the Serie A club in 2021 is related to the case of moving to Saudi Arabia.
After Inzaghi announced his sign-out through his social media account, he sent an emotional message to everyone in the club.
He said
“After a four-year journey, I arrived at the time of this club, and during this period I gave it all. I wanted to give my last words to millions of Nerazzurri (Inter) fans who cheered me up, weeped and misered in the tough times and celebrated with a smile and laughter in the six victories we experienced together.
“I will never forget you.”
During his time in San Siro, Inzaghi won one Serie A, two Italian Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italia. He directed Inter to the Champions League final twice, but was beaten 1-0 by Manchester City in 2022-23 before defeating PSG 5-0 this season.
What’s next for Simone Inzaghi?
Several reports say Inzaghi may be the next coach for Saudi Arabia Al-Hilal before the club’s World Cup begins on June 14, 2025.
