    The 30+ songs released by Nigerian artists in 2025 are the most circulated Nigerian songs on Spotify’s digital streaming platform.

    Nigerian global sensation Rema continues to make a sensation in the international music industry as his hit single “Is Crime” officially surpassed the 50 million streams on Spotify, making it the most released release in 2025, marking a major milestone in the artist’s already outstanding career.

    Released earlier this year, it was a crime, which was caught at the heart of fans and music lovers and quickly became a prominent track on streaming platforms, resonating with audiences around the world, with its bold voice, emotional lyrics and genre fusion.

    The song’s rapid rise now wins the title of Spotify’s most popular Nigerian song of 2025 to date.
