If you are looking for a simple, wholesome snack rich in plant-based omega-3, these seed cookies will become a staple in your kitchen. They are made from only three ingredients, rich in nutrition and satisfying crispy inside – perfect for snacking or pairing with your favorite dip.
As a vegan person for over a decade, I always realize the necessary nutrients through food, and omega-3 fatty acids are one of them. Since I don’t eat fish, I rely on flax seeds, chia seeds and cannabis seeds to give me ALA, which is a plant-based Omega-3 form.
These cookies are a celebration of these three seeds. They are very easy to make, customizable and well stored – perfect for batch preparation.

raw material
(Make a plate of cookies)
– 1 cup grated flax seeds, chia seeds and hemp seeds (I’ve used it This mix)
-1/4 cup of all Chia seeds
-1/4 cup cannabis seeds (Add texture and crunch)
-3/4 cup water
Optional add-ons for extra flavor:
– Pinch sea salt or garlic powder
– Dried herbs (such as thyme, rosemary)
– Smoked paprika or cumin
– Nutritious yeast, can taste vulgar
– Sesame, pumpkin or sunflower seeds add texture
method
1. Mix ground linen, hemp and chia seeds in a mixing bowl. Add the entire CHIA and shell seeds.
2. Pour 3/4 cup water and mix thoroughly. Allow the mixture to stand for 10-15 minutes so that CHIA and flax can absorb the liquid and form a gel-like consistency.
3. Scoop the mixture onto a piece of baking paper. Place another piece on top and use the scroll pin to thin it into solidity.
4. Peel off the top paper and use a knife or pizza to cut the desired cookie shape – square, rectangle, triangle, you can name it.
5. Carefully transfer the cut shape to the lined baking tray and bake at 200°C for 30 minutes and flip halfway.
6. Let them cool on the rack for maximum crispness.

Why these seeds?
That’s why flax, chia and cannabis seeds are the power chamber for nutrition, especially for anyone in a plant-based diet:
Flax seeds

chia seeds
Each tablespoon contains 5 grams of fiber
High in protein, calcium and antioxidants
It will naturally be gel-like when soaked, helping to tie the cookies
Cannabis seeds
Provides the balance ratio of omega-3 to omega-6
Contains complete protein (all 9 essential amino acids)
Rich in magnesium, zinc and iron
Storage
Once the cookies have completely cooled, store them in an airtight container at room temperature. They will keep the flavor fresh and crispy for 2 weeks – perfect snack or lunch box filler.
