    • Seyi Vibez has attracted attention in the video of the London 2025 BET Awards.
    • Seeing him being interviewed by a foreign journalist surprised many fans.
    • Seyi Vibez is known for his seldom interviews, thus guessing his English proficiency.

Nigerian singer Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi (commonly known as Seyi Vibez) has sparked a lot of online buzz after his recent video surfaced, which surfaced from the 2025 BET Awards in London, England.

Seeing the “pressure” killer interviewing with foreign journalists surprised many fans. Some critics are known for conducting very few interviews, suggesting that this is due to his considerable limited English skills, which are often emphasized in his music. However, the new editing challenges this assumption.

During the interview, Seyi Vibez spoke confidently in English, demonstrating a level of fluency that impressed the audience and triggered various reactions online.

When asked about the key figures who pioneered Afrobeats in the United States, he praised famous artists such as Rema, Bernard Boy, Vezkid and Davido, including himself on the list.

Seyi Vibez also shared his musical wishes, expressing his desire to work with Kanye West and Playboi Carti. Furthermore, when the interviewer mentioned Davido’s father, Addeji Adeleke, and his impact on the Nigerian power sector, Seyi described Davido as a truly good guy.

Despite measurements and caution in his words, the interview sparked various responses. Some fans praised his improved English skills and even claimed that he surpassed his companion Asake, while others joked that his language barriers limited his entire expression.
