Chelsea Football Club has decided to stop their proposed moves and sign AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan.
The Blues won France International, with their estimates ranging from 10 million euros (8.46 million pounds) to 15 million euros (12.7 million pounds), leading the FIFA club World Cup. Chelsea’s proposed fees for goalkeepers are not very good than AC Milan’s hierarchy, and they hope to replace Robert Sanchez.
Transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed on his official social media account that the deal was cancelled. According to him, neither club can reach a deal for the French international.
He said
“Mike Maignan is now trading between Chelsea and AC Milan. Chelsea is unwilling to meet Milan Price and is not in time for the Club World Cup because #CFC will not pay CWC tax.”
Chelsea’s books already have five goalkeepers Robert Sanchez, Filip Jorgensen, Djordje Petrovic, Mike Penders and Kepa Arrizabalaga, but now they’re unlikely to sign with Mike Maignan’s goalkeeper this summer, and Mike Maignan Deal has seen no light.
However, Chelsea may return to the trade when the windows open again before the club’s World Cup ends in July 2025.
