

Manchester Football Club has completed a long-term deal signed from Rayan Cherki of Lyon.
Manchester City completed the signing of the 21-year-old attacking midfielder on its official website on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. Rayan Cherki signed a five-year contract that will keep him at Etihad Stadium until the summer of 2030.
The French international expressed delight at joining Manchester City ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup. He made his debut in France against Spain in their National League semi-finals and won goals and assists as Les Bleus beat 5-1 but beat 5-4.
He said

The defender is signing for the third time in two days, and coach Guardiola brought back spare goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli from Chelsea earlier Monday.
Cherki made her debut for 16-year-old Lyon in October 2019, scoring 29 goals and 45 assists in 185 games.
