Davido confirmed that he will no longer be headlined with Mary J. Blige, London 50 cents, which is why.
Numerous award-winning singer and performer David Adeleke (known as Davido) visited his social media platform (Instagram) today (Saturday, June 14, 2025) to announce that he will no longer perform at Totterham Hotspur Stadium with 50 Cent and Mary J. Blige in the headlines of Totterham Hotspur Stadium.
The singer shared a lengthy post that he confirmed the decision was the result of “mis-alignment”, i.e., the full execution of his evening performance.
He added that the concert, which was scheduled for July 3, 2025, will continue, but as with him, it was an artist of the night, adding that it was a matter of principle and respect for his craft.
His posts on social media read,”Over the past few weeks, I have expanded my full support and professionalism to the Necto Future Group, the sponsor of @iconicpress, providing a performance that meets the high standards my fans deserve with sincere intentions. Despite the support from fans and impressive tickets, there are significant mistakes in the execution of the incident, especially with the key elements needed to maintain my performance. Unfortunately, these issues remain unresolved. As a result, I regret to inform you that on January 3, 1 will no longer perform at Tottenham Stadium. Note that the show still exists, but there is no Davido. My team and I are unremittingly preparing and I am very grateful to the thousands of fans for looking forward to the tickets. This decision is not a reflection of vote or support; it is a matter of principles for my craft, my fans and the culture I represent. London, I will see you soon! The rest of the show this summer is still going on 5ives and still alive! See you in Germany, Portugal, Belgium, Canada and the United States! Africa must be respected.“
