Darkoo announced that she will release a sample version of the hit song “Gongo Aso”, which herself will also feature 9ICE.

UK-based Nigerian rapper and singer Darkoo will be croaking with the legendary Afrobeat STAR 9ICE, and it has caused a huge buzz as the song will be one of the biggest tracks in the Nigerian music industry “Gongo Aso”.

The track is titled June 27, and the track is scheduled to be released on June 27 and has a nostalgic twist, a sample of 9ice’s iconic hit single “Gongo Aso.”

Originally released in 2008, the definition of Nigerian music, “Gongo Aso” has won nine praises nationwide and cemented his position in Afrobeats history.

Now, nearly two decades later, Darkoo breathes new life into the classics with a modern spin, fusing her iconic British exercise and African fusion sounds with 9ICE’s timeless Yoruba Melodies.

The collaboration is hailed as an exciting cross-generational connection, with one dynamic artist with a global talent representing the new school, and the other being the enduring voice of the golden age of Nigerian music.

From the nostalgic background of the sample to the rhythm of infection of the two stars, this will be a powerful summer anthem.
