

Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a new two-year contract with Al Nassr that will extend his stay with the Saudi Pro League until June 2027.
The parties confirmed information about the contract on their respective social media accounts on Thursday, June 26, 2026. The news will address tensions among club supporters after rumors last season that he may join a team at the club’s World Cup.

(1) Ronaldo has signed a two-year extension until June 2027 when he signed him at Al Nassr, by then he will be 42 years old and has the option to extend it for one year.
(2) Ronaldo’s new deal is reportedly still 200 million euros per year, including image rights. He earns over €550,000 a day, making him the highest paid athlete ever.
(3) With Ronaldo’s expansion, Al Nassr will aim to transform personal excellence into team silverware.

Ronaldo joined as a free agent in December 2022 after leaving United in December 2022, and in a controversial interview he criticized Premier League clubs, followed by manager Erik Ten. He scored 99 goals in 111 games for Al NASSR and scored 35 last season to win the Golden Boot Award for Best Score in the Saudi Pro League.
