2face Idibia expresses grief over the Benue state massacre

The legendary Nigerian singer, the innocent Idibia, commonly known as 2Baba (2face), has caused controversy online after sharing his candid thoughts about monogamy and male sexuality.

In a recent appearance on a podcast hosted by media personality Nedu Wazobia, music idols have made a bold statement that it is impossible for men to maintain sex with a woman biologically, even if they are deeply in love.

“Men are not built for a woman” – 2baba

Speaking about relationships and male desires, 2Baba said:

“A man is not with a woman. He is with a woman’s heart and love. But, a man cannot. This is the biology of a man.

His comments section was posted in Pidgin English, sparking a wave of online discussions, with many praising his honesty, while others criticizing his position as an excuse for infidelity.

Mixed reaction between fans and audiences

While some fans applaud 2Baba’s “speak hard truths” about male sexual behavior, others accused him of promoting harmful stereotypes and undermining the concept of commitment to human relationships.

One user commented: “He just speaks from experience rather than science.”

Another person believes: “Love is a choice and discipline. Men can choose to remain loyal.”

2baba was previously married to Nollywood actress Annie Idibia, who often makes headlines for her high-profile relationships and multiple children from different women.
