- 2face, also known as 2Baba, has resolved his ongoing dispute with his former record label Blackface.
- 2Baba expressed respect for blackface in an interview with Nedu, but continued to smear his name, saying the allegations against him were ridiculous and painful.

Senior Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, commonly known as 2Baba, is open to his long-term problems with former band Blackface.
In a recent interview with media personality Nedu, 2BABA expressed frustration at his constant opposition to blackface, despite always maintaining a respectful stance towards him. Music idols describe many of the blackface allegations as unreasonable and hurtful.
Reflecting on their past collaborations, “Queen of Africa” Crooner also revealed that he was responsible for writing most of the hit songs, which remained a decisive role in his career.
Despite repeated attacks, 2Baba admits that he still doesn’t understand Blackface’s motivation for persistent dissatisfaction, but he chooses to go beyond negative emotions.
“It’s a collaboration. Actually, I wrote most of the songs, but we wrote this song together.
I’m not the one who comes and starts dragging words. I don’t know what his intentions are, I don’t know what I did to him.
I kept showing respect to him, but he kept smearing my name there. They are sometimes ridiculous, ridiculous, and very painful. And, to this day, I just want to know why? That was my only mind.
What is the reason, it’s just ridiculous.
