The Enugu State Police Department refuted the report, saying a young woman was murdered and harvested her organs at a hotel in Nsukka.
Police spokesman SP Daniel Ndukwe described the statement as false and capable of inciting panic. Preliminary investigations showed that despite the victim’s mouth, the swelling around her mouth indicated signs of harvest that might have strangled the organ.
“”On June 14, 2025, the victim, accompanied by a male suspect, boarded a hotel in Obukpa Road, Nsukka, New York. It is reported that the suspect’s true identity and contact information have not been determined, and the suspect was reportedly inspected the next morning, claiming that the woman had left.
The woman checked in the hotel with a male suspect on June 14 and later checked out alone. Her body was found in the room and was confirmed dead in the hospital.
