    Afrobeats Feeling Ayra Starr officially carved her name into the history book, the first African female artist to have more than 5 million followers on Spotify, one of the world’s leading music streaming platforms. Lagos report eyes,

    The 21-year-old Mavin Records star has been unstoppable since its breakthrough in 2021, and this latest milestone has cemented her position as a global powerhouse in the music industry.

    Despite this record-breaking feat Ayra Starr is still behind Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Tems in Spotify Streams. Although Tems has 3.8 billion streams in all credits, AYRA is currently in 2.7 billion streams, and this chase has attracted fans’ attention worldwide.

    The best performing track

    Ayra Starr has grown up successfully and is supported by viral singles and global collaborations. Her most popular track on the platform isn’t even a solo effort, its “Santa” has reached an astonishing 707 million streams. But her most popular solo hit single remains “Rush,” which has so far exceeded 474 million streams.
    Fans and industry reactions

    Fans flooded social media with praise and admiration:

    “Ayra is indeed the future of Afrobeats – Global numbers won’t lie!” – @afrobeatssource
    “She is winning the championship for Tems. It’s a proud moment for Nigerian music.” – @naijamusicbuzz

    Music industry analysts attribute her rapid growth to viral marketing, relevance of Gen Z, and strong tag support from Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records. Her latest album, I’m 21, also received widespread praise, driving her streams and international recognition.
    What’s next for Ayra Starr?

    With this new Spotify milestone, Ayra Starr joins the elite of African artists, causing a serious wave internationally. As she continues to tour Europe and the United States, her fan base is expected to grow in the near future, possibly exceeding TEMS.

    Whether you’re a daytime fan or just discovering your voice, one thing is clear – Aayra Starr is more than just a star;
