The first Champions League club to submit a bid by Victor Osimhen is revealed in the latest transfer update.
The contest to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is heating up, with Turkish giant Galatasaray submitting an official offer to Naples to make the Turkish Super Route Champion the first European side to make a bid in order to make his chances of returning him to Champions League football very high.
Galatasaray’s bid is reportedly worth an estimated €50 million, plus an additional €5 million add-on to complete Osimhen’s transfer in the summer window of 2025, although the current offer is currently under Napoli’s valuation.
He reportedly set a €75 million release clause in Osimhen’s contract, which he reportedly held at a higher fee but still did not comment on the initial proposal.
However, the Turkish champion is said to be optimistic about his chances and is ready to return with improved bids.
Crucially, it is understood that Osimhen is open to return to Galatasaray, who had spent some time in Turkey before, adding that the Nigerian international has reached an agreement on the club’s personal terms.
Players’ interest in the move may play a key role in ongoing negotiations, although the end result will depend on the agreement between the two clubs on the transfer fee and structure of the deal.
Meanwhile, Al Hilal is still active among the 26-year-old, and Saudi professional league clubs are reportedly ready to trigger the 75 million euros issue terms.
As the discussion continues, the striker’s future remains uncertain, but there are two major clubs chasing, and Osimhen is reportedly eager to acquire new challenges so that the transfer can be completed in the next few weeks.
