Ondo State Police Command has confirmed the death of Oladele Femi, commonly known as “Tallex”, a key suspect in a creepy murder involving two students from Adekunle Ajasin University in Akungba-Akoko (AAUA).

John Abba and his female friend Eloho Okah were reportedly detained for kidnapping and killing, and he reportedly died in the hospital after suffering from a mysterious illness while in police custody. Femi has been receiving medical treatment since her arrest and has been hospitalized regularly, according to state police spokesman DSP Olushola Ayanlade. His death was officially confirmed on Saturday.

Femi, who served as Abba’s landlord, allegedly admitted to playing a central role in the creepy crime. Eloho Okah’s body has been restored and efforts are still being made to find Abba’s body.

As the investigation intensified, police arrested two other suspects – Kura and Michael – while the student disappeared, allegedly stole N800,000 from Abba’s bank account. Authorities say the funds were transferred and withdrawn, while the victims remained imprisoned.

In a major development, police also recovered the Lexus RX 350 SUV belonging to ABBA from one of the suspects, linking it to crime.

The case has attracted anger and attention from the Akemba-Akeko community, with students and residents calling for justice for the killed undergraduates.
