Nigerian students can now pay for tuition in the UK with Nairaka

The Nigerian Bank announced that individuals who want to pay international tuition can do this directly from their Naira accounts using the “Formate A” portal of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The platform is a CBN-regulated channel that allows Nigerians to use the official forex window to pay for eligible services such as school fees, medical expenses and training courses.

The announcement comes after the recent improvement of Forex (FX) liquidity. GTBANK said in an email to clients on Monday that the process could be used to pay applicants who pay for bachelor’s and graduate education abroad. The notice reads: “Pay international tuition directly from your Naira account.” To access the service, customers must register via http://www.tradesystem.gov.ng and register and submit applications through the Trade System Portal. “Select “Form”””” application form.
Select GTBANK as the processing library, attach the required files, and submit the application. “GTBANK said. In a similar notice, Lotus Bank also informed customers of processing international fees using its facilities. Select the “A” application for “Educational Fees”. Select Lotus Bank as the processing bank, attach the required documents, and submit the application,” the bank said.
