D’e Tigress lagged behind in the first quarter of 21-26, but rebounded to capture the second and third quarters (20-15).
In the fourth quarter, the defending champion showed the class’s victory over Mali (17-8, 78-64).
They were the first team to have five consecutive trophys in the game.
They haven’t lost the game in 10 years!
This is their seventh African-American trophy for women.
