    • Naira Marley, known for his song “Soapy”, sparked discussion on social media.
    • He posted a mysterious post on his X (formerly Twitter) account on August 6.
    • The post includes a quote from his 2018 hit track “Japa”.
Naira Marley reportedly filed a petition against actress iyabo ojo

“Soap” Crooner Naira Marley sparked a conversation on social media after sharing a mysterious post on August 6 through his X (formerly Twitter) account.

He quoted a line from the 2018 hit track Japa:

“japa japa omo Yes, Canada 🎶”

It loosely translates to “the child escapes to Canada.”

The short post immediately sparked speculation from fans, many of whom suggested it was a subtle mention of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo.

Iyabo Ojo is currently in Canada, awaiting the arrival of her grandson. Her trip was shortly after news of her daughter Priscilla’s pregnancy surfaced online.

Naira Marley released an audio clip of the same lyrics in his Instagram story, triggering further buzz, reinvigorating the public’s tense relationship with the actress.

Their consequences can be traced back to the fierce controversy surrounding the death of fast-rise singer Mohbad. Iyabo Ojo is one of those who publicly accuse Naira Marley and his Marlian Music Bail of bullying and abusing the late artist.

The post, published in an online criticism of Iyabo Ojo, was led by social media commentator Heythdarkman, who has been posting “evidence” and accusing the actress of unfairly targeting Naira Marley instead of focusing on Mohbad’s justice.
