Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar holds the African Democratic Congress membership card he plans to collect, due to growing speculation that former President Goodluck Jonathan may be in the 2027 presidential campaign and that he is proposing to him at the ADC.
Recently resigned from the People’s Democratic Party membership after a long internal dispute, he plans to formally defect to the ADC in the event of collecting his membership card. ADC officials will introduce membership cards in Jada in his hometown of Jada’s local government area.
However, Sunday’s punch gathering was postponed indefinitely at the ceremony held on Wednesday, August 6, without a formal explanation from the former vice president’s camp. It’s even the ADC’s chief told Sunday’s punch that the party has been in a cautious conversation with Jonathan to take place in a possible presidential campaign in 2027.
