The Bielsa National Secretariat of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is an event on Friday, August 29, 2025, serving as the party’s state executive committee, by Chairman Hon. Johnny Tovie Derek holds a powerful interactive meeting with ADC non-Indigenes alliance

The alliance, whose chairman, Mr. Danlami Danjuma, joined with his executives, expressed appreciation to the party’s national leaders. In his speech, Mr. Danjuma expressed regret for the country under the government, which he described as “all commitments, no results”. He reiterated the coalition’s preparations for working with the ADC at the state and national levels, and stressed that their decision to identify with the ADC was driven by the party’s vision of genuine progress across Bayelsa State and Nigeria.

    ‎

Meanwhile, the Arewa community chairperson of Alhaji Usman Ali Galadanci also pointed out that despite their past support for other political parties and governments, meaningful progress remains elusive. He assured that the non-enterprise alliance has decided to put it all into practice to ensure ADC wins as a way to achieve real change.

    ‎

Abdulrauf Olajide Alabi, Assistant Minister and Union Secretary of the Yoruba community, said the Yoruba community was tired of “verbal change and empty promises”, adding that through the ADC, they believed that real change was possible.

    ‎

Similarly, Mrs. Toms Stella, vice president of the non-enterprise alliance representing the Igbo community, described the gathering as a call for all the people who are truly interested in saving the Belthusians and Nigerians from suffering. She confirmed Igbos’ full support for ADC and described it as having a vision to raise Bayelsa and Nigeria.

    ‎

Similarly, Mr. Edwin Edet, the representative of the South-South Forum, briefly explained his remarks, but guaranteed the preparation of the South-South people to stand with the ADC to keep the struggle between Bayelsa State and Nigeria to enviable heights.

    ‎

In his response, ADC State Chairman Hon. Johnny Tovie Derek thanked the coalition for their recognition with the party. He acknowledged the immense contribution of non-Indians to the development of Bielsa State that the state would not be what it is today without their input. He accused them of working hand in hand with the ADC to set records directly by voting reliable leaders and promised the party to work on real changes that Bellsels and Nigerians deserve.
