@simply_bamike I once had a patient (an 8 year old girl) swallowed her nails but didn’t tell her parents. I’m not sure if it was because she forgot or was scared. But she started to breathe, and her parents had been asthma for a week… She had an X-ray, but for some reason, her nails were not visible in the first X-ray. That was after the first week referral to my unit and had a repeated x-ray examination that eventually showed that she had swallowed her nails…I believe training the kid is not your own wisdom, because it can really be a lot of things
