    • American YouTuber Mrbeast expressed interest in purchasing pencil paintings by Nigerian artist Ifure Usen, who recreated the AI-generated family photo Mrbeast shared online.
    • Mrbeast was impressed by how he would DM and wanted to hang artwork on the wall.

Popular American YouTuber and philanthropist Jimmy Donaldson (known as MRBEAST) said that after X (formerly Twitter) had an interest in getting work from Nigerian artists.

Mrbeast earlier shared an image of his fiancé and his two children’s AI-generated image, joked that the photo hints at his fiancé’s desire for something. In response, Nigerian pencil artist ifure Usen recreated the image with detailed pencil drawings and proudly marked Mrbeast: “I did it!!! @mrbeast. Pencil art on paper.”

The artwork quickly caught Mrbeast’s attention. YouTuber’s efforts and creativity impressed: “Love it, I’ll shoot DM at you. Would love to put it on my wall!”

This exchange has spread since then, with many Nigerians applauding Usen’s talent and celebrating the recognition of one of the world’s largest content creators.

In other news…. Social media influencer Gehgeh’s recent speech about women and motherhood has sparked controversy.

In a viral post, she claimed it was a “red flag” for any woman who has never been pregnant once in her life between the ages of 25 and 30. “No girl between the ages of 25 and 30 will ever get a beauty for her whole life,” she wrote.

Her statement has since sparked heated discussions online, with many users accusing her of promoting unhealthy stereotypes and reducing the value of women to their fertility. However, others believe that she expressed only personal opinions about giving birth and preparing for maternity.
