    • Afrobeats artist Femi Kuti shared insights about his father, Fela Kuti, a famous music legend.
    • Despite Fela’s music becoming increasingly popular, especially in the popular “Jeun Ko Ku”, the family still faces financial difficulties.
    • Femi highlights the contrast between Fela’s musical success and efforts to meet basic needs during this period.

Afrobeats star Femi Kuti revealed that his late father, music legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti, experienced financial difficulties even as his music began to gain widespread recognition.

Femi said in an interview with Afropolitan that Jeun Ko Ku was being taken with heavy air play on Fela’s groundbreaking track and the family was still struggling to meet basic needs.

The Grammy-nominated musician shared that they lived on Agege Motor Road before the founding of the Kalakuta Republic, and that despite Fela’s growing popularity, life at home is challenging.

“He was very poor. He couldn’t even provide us with enough food, his children.” “We lived at 14A Agege Motor Road before Kalakuta. Every radio station was playing Fela’s first Afrobeats Hit, Jeun Ko Ku. Even though he seemed surprised by the benefits he received.”

In other news, a woman couldn’t stand her excitement after receiving a letter of appointment from the Civil Service Commission after nearly 18 years of completing her college education.

The woman finally got her position on the Nigerian Civil Service Commission, according to a report shared by popular media Thetattleroom on Instagram.

She was overwhelmed and filled with joy, falling to the floor, rolling around gratefully, drawing the attention of onlookers, some of whom tried to help her get back to her feet.

    The video was titled…

“The lady rolled on the floor after 18 years after graduating from college.”
