Experienced Nigerian singer Gabriel Oche Amanyi (commonly known as Terry G) announced that he had no plans to quit the music.
The 39-year-old artist explained that he would rather be seen as a “emerging” behavior than exiting the industry altogether.
His comments were in response to critics who accused him of chasing influence on social media.
Terry G got X’s handle:
“I don’t mind being called an upcoming artist. You can only get the title of legend when you retire And I will never retire. So if you see me hunting for influence, Please allow me. ”
Terry G was one of the pioneers of street jumping in the 2010s, waving waves like Freedom Madness, Sangalo, Akpako Masters and Running Madness.
He is currently making a comeback with a new collaboration with Victony called Tanko.
