- Reporter Kemi Olunloyo claims Hilda Baci’s first Guinness World Record Cook-a-thon was not sponsored by the rumored “Sugar Dad” but was sponsored by a man named Dami.
- She further claimed that Dami also broke several music artists. Hilda and her team have not responded to the claim yet.

Controversial Nigerian journalist Kemi Olunloyo puts forward new demands on financial support for celebrity chef Hilda Baci’s first Guinness World Record (GWR) attempt.
In a post shared online, Olunloyo dismissed speculation that Sugar Daddy sponsored Hilda’s famous Cook-a-thon in 2023, which gained her global recognition. According to her, the real financier is a man named Dami, not someone suggested by some rumors.
The allegations against Dami
Olunloyo claims she claims Dami played a role in funding Hilda’s record bid, and he also has the history of several music artists financially swelling, allegedly causing some bankruptcy.
She wrote:
“Who funded Hilda’s first Guinness winner? That’s not ‘Sugar Dad’. It was Dami who funded her and broke several music artists.
Public Response
The allegation sparked a reaction online, with many urging caution and fact-checking, while others accusing Olunloyo of targeting unproven claims. Neither Hilda Baci nor her management responded to the latest statement from this report.
