    • A viral video showing singer Davido’s visit to Delta State in Warri has sparked speculation online, with many believing he was attacked by fans.
    • The incident happened after Davido left the nightclub after performing at the city’s wedding.
    • The singer responded through his X-handle, clarifying that it was not a fan, but his security officers mistakenly beat him, denying fear of the attack.

The video of Nigerian music superstar Davido was hit on Warri’s recent visit to Warri by Delta State University in Warri, which was a hit on social media.

The singer performed at a wedding in Warri on the weekend, then stopped at a popular nightclub in the state.

In the popular clip, Davido was shocked when he was hit on his head while leaving the club. The incident quickly sparked an online reaction, with many social media users speculating that he was attacked by avid fans.

However, Davido has mastered his official X (formerly Twitter) handling, explaining that it wasn’t a fan, but one of his security personnel accidentally hit him.

The singer wrote: “That’s my safety.

The clarifications subsequently calmed down speculation, and many of his fans expressed relief from the situation’s not intentional attack.
