Charlie Kirk’s Wound Erika Kirk is appointed as the new CEO of Turning Point in the United States after her husband’s tragic death.
Charlie Kirk, founder and CEO of the Conservative Youth organization, was fatally shot dead during a speech at Utah Valley University, while “interacting with audiences about mass shootings in the United States.”
Turning Point U.S. confirmed Erika’s appointment on September 18, 2025, indicating that she was elected unanimously by the board of directors. “Charlie Kirk has expressed his desire to his wife Erika Kirk to replace him as CEO when he dies,” the organization revealed.
The suspected killer, Tyler James Robinson, 22, was charged with “aggravated murder, felony release of guns, obstruction of justice, witness tampering with and committing violent crimes in the presence of the child.”
“I will award Charlie Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom to the highest civilian honor to the United States,” announced Kirk’s close ally Donald Trump. He also ordered the flag to be lowered to half a man.
Trump further confirmed Robinson’s arrest in an interview with Fox News.
