- Businessman Isaac Fayose’s tenant in Abuja accused him of facing legal problems after threatening his life.
- The case was heard in the District Court of Wuse, District 6.
- Fayose shares his frustration in a viral video, highlighting his dispute with tenants over unpaid rent.

Businessman Isaac Fayose was revealing that some of his tenants in Abuja brought him to the district court in Wuse, District 6, accusing him of threatening their lives.
In a viral video, Fayose, who has talked about his failed commercial business, shared his frustration over a long dispute with his tenant, claiming they have not paid their rent for more than three years.
He said 25 tenants lived in 24 apartments and a restaurant and owed him 287 million unpaid rent. Fayose said the tenants did not settle the debt, but filed a lawsuit against him, accusing him of threats to issue it.
The businessman added that he has paid $48 million in attorney fees in five different courts since the matter began.
Fayose also criticized Nigeria’s judicial system, believing that repeated court adjournment has caused his tenants to evade rent obligations.
“Can you stay abroad in someone’s house for more than three years without paying rent and still dragging the owner to court? That’s what we’ve experienced in this country,” Fayose lamented.
“There are so many injustices on our land that poverty is inevitable. I am in court again today… The tenant tried to imprison the landlord for 3 years after staying at my house for 3 years. The tenant as of today, the tenant owes N287 million and I have spent more than 47 million on legal expenses. He added in the title.
