Detained IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu applied for DSS through his attorney Aloy Ejimakor to request emergency medical services for his deteriorating health.
The letter is dated September 23, 2025 and is titled “Reply: You are required to urgently approve the hospital’s admission to the hospital for the admission of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu”, and to urgently accept Kanu in the hospital.
“Referring to your physician team’s latest medical evaluation of MAZI MMMDI (in the presence of his brother Emmare Prince! Team), we are here to seek your friendly and urgent approval to quickly acknowledge and further manage the health of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu,” The letter obtained by Saharareporters has been read.
According to the letter, the selected hospital was Clover Hospital, located at Agadez Crescent, No. 11, Wuse 2, Abuja, and the doctor contacted was Dr. Michael Eze.
“Due to the urgency of the situation, the hospital plans to accept Mazi Kanu as soon as possible between today and tomorrow. Your friendly cooperation in this regard will be greatly appreciated.” Added letter.
Saharareporters reported that IPOB had worsened his health for Nnamdi Kanu, accusing DSS of endangering his life through poor medical care and warnings on Nigeria and the region if his condition worsens further.
