    • Lagos State has appointed influential Mandykiss as the brand ambassador for the Laskada Anti-Drug initiative.
    • The partnership aims to capitalize on her social media presence, and the business has over 400,000 followers.
    • The goal is to attract a larger audience across Lagos State in the anti-drug campaign.

Lagos State University has officially welcomed popular influencer Mandykiss as brand ambassador for Laskada’s anti-drug initiative.

The collaboration aims to leverage her massive social media coverage with over 400,000 followers to attract a wide audience across the state.

Authorities stress that drug abuse remains an urgent social challenge that cannot be solved by government efforts alone. By attracting influencers like Mandicis, Lascada seeks to increase awareness more effectively and promote prevention strategies.

In the announcement, a spokesperson said “No one has no past, no one is perfect. But with Mandikis’ influence, we hope that she can help expand our message to every corner of Lagos in the fight against this issue.”

As part of her role, Mandikis will participate in public events, educational programs and social media campaigns designed to stop drug use by young people and the wider community.

The initiative highlights the state’s dedication to public health and social welfare, combining government measures with community engagement and influencer advocacy to maximize its influence.

Officials noted that such partnerships represent a new strategy to address social challenges, emphasizing the value of working with individuals who can effectively connect with the public.
