Popular comedian and reality TV character Aderombi Adedayo Martin (commonly known as Deeone) is preparing to set a new world record for the longest stand-up show.
Deeone announced in September that his record attempts have been formally approved by the Guinness World Record (GWR). He started the ambitious 40-hour comedy marathon on Thursday, September 2, starting from midnight.
The video of the event was held in Opebi, Lagos State, showing carefully monitored performance, with visible timers tracking for hours.
If the show succeeds, he will be one of the few comedians around the world to achieve this extraordinary milestone.
The marathon is scheduled to end on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
