    • Nigerian doctor Dr. Tolu Binutu shared his experience of moving to the UK, highlighting significant financial differences.
    • He revealed that his six-month salary in the UK exceeded his total income from his seven years of work in Nigeria.
    • His story is in response to a Nigerian lawyer who expressed frustration at the challenges of financial difficulties and burdens.

Nigerian doctor Tolu Binutu shares his inspiring Japa story, revealing that his six-month salary in the UK exceeded his total income from seven years of hard work from Nigeria.

Dr. Binutu was known on Friday in response to a Nigerian lawyer who was frustrated by his financial struggles and could not afford rent for his apartment.

The UK-based doctor provided encouragement and reflected on his modest beginning after completing medical school in Nigeria.

“After I graduated from medical school, I went back with my parents. I lived with them for seven years until I had been nearly 30 years. I didn’t buy a car.” he wrote.

He explained that during this period he had worked several jobs to save money in order to move abroad.

“Train several jobs, sometimes two at the same time. Save enough work to write exams and move to the UK.” He added.

Dr Binutu shared the obvious difference between his income in Nigeria and the UK and said: “The UK pays more than all the seven-year salary I have in Nigeria. ”

He ended his message with the motivation of struggling lawyers and other young professionals, saying, “It’s not too late for you. Not a mile.”
