    • Pregnant Edo MP and wife of music icon 2Baba, Natasha Osawaru Idibia, shared a video of her husband in an interview with BBC, praising his appearance and telling fans to appreciate his “sexiness”.

Natasha Osawaru Idibia, wife of music legend 2Baba, cannot hide her admiration for her husband in a new video.

The pregnant Edo lawmaker shared a clip of 2Baba in an interview with BBC on Instagram, gushing over his looks and charm.

She urged fans to “look how hot her husband is,” expressing her excitement and pride in being married to him.

“Look how hot my husband is. Oh my days”.

In other news… Afrobeat singer Sparrow has revealed that he prays and relies on God before and after releasing his songs.

He stated this in a recent interview with Frank Edoho.

Sparrow said that given the high costs of the music industry, he seeks divine guidance through prayer before releasing a song to ensure its success.

He said, “I think I do things differently. Because when I want to drop a song for this project, the first thing I want to do is pray, because I always wonder. You know it’s pretty expensive to promote music in this industry. I know.”

Spiro explained that promoting a single can cost hundreds of millions of naira.

He further stated that shooting a high-quality music video such as his song “Shut Down” cost him over 40 million naira.

The “Who’s Your Guy” singer said additional costs include radio play and, most importantly, social media promotion.

“Sometimes you talk about hundreds of millions of dollars for a song. I mean, to shoot a proper video now, you’re talking 20, 30 million, 40 million. I spent over 400,000 on ‘Shut Down.’ I also paid to put the song on radio,” he added.

He highlighted the high cost of paying influencers and running sponsored ads on platforms like TikTok and Instagram, noting that Instagram ads have been particularly expensive in the past.

“It’s social media that’s carrying all the money. Yeah, because you’re paying TikTok and Instagram influencers. You’re doing search advertising.

“So, other than that, you go to Instagram, you put money in there, you do search advertising, you know. I think, I don’t know now, Instagram even used to be much more expensive than TikTok, like last time,” he said.

To manage those costs, Spiro said he built a supportive network of industry friends, reducing the need for huge expenditures.

He mentioned that this collaborative approach helped him reduce expenses over time.

“Because now I’ve built a network of friends, people in the industry, and we do things for ourselves that don’t cost that much. So I’ve invested in friendships in the field. So I serve them and they serve me.

“So that’s why I don’t know how much I spent on Instagram now, but I know I spent a lot of money on Instagram at the time,” he said.

Sparrow added that he relied on spiritual direction when deciding which songs to release.

“So when I want to drop a song, I don’t want to miss it. You know, so I usually like go to God and like God guide me and let me know.

“You know, people think God isn’t interested in things like this, but He’s very, very interested. So tell me, tell me, you know. For example, the first song I’m going to put out on this album is, it’s straight from God.

“Like I woke up to this song, you know, I woke up and immediately picked up my phone. I called my producer. I said, I’m coming in to record a song at 6.30 this morning, you know.

“The funny thing is, once I got to the studio, I was like, why did you agree to record a song for me so early? And here you are. He was like, ah, he even played games until the morning. But someone called him, someone who doesn’t usually talk to him, just called him and said, Sparrow is coming to your studio this week to record a song. Put your life into it,” he added.
