In other news… BBNaija star and former winner Ijeoma Josephina Otabor popularly known as Fina has responded to critics who dragged her to a party weeks after her sister was buried, saying there is no manual for grief.
Phyna lost her sister, Ruth Otabor, in August and buried her in September. Fina was criticized after a video showed her clubbing with actress Regina Daniels.
Regina earlier defended her, saying people should stop judging others for how they choose to heal, but Fina has now spoken out on X, writing: “There is no manual for grief and everyone’s grief looks different. Stop telling people how to grieve.”
She wrote:
“Grief has no guides, no set faces, and no timeline. The fact that I choose to continue living, smiling, or sharing moments does not take away the pain I endure. Respect the process, even if you don’t understand it. If you can’t express sympathy, then at least express silence.”
While many fans rallied around Fina, praising her strength and honesty, some criticized her for going clubbing just weeks after her sister’s burial, insisting it was “too soon”.
