In other news… Renowned evangelical pastor Nathaniel Brazil shared how his wife Sarah suffered five miscarriages, including an ectopic pregnancy.
The revelation comes during the ongoing October 2025 edition of his popular online worship show Hallelujah Challenge, which runs from October 7 to 31, starting at 11:59 pm each day.
Bassey recalled that despite leading in-person worship services, he would often rush to his wife’s hospital bedside after the event, where she would receive treatment.
Nathaniel and Sarah Bassey were married in 2013.
“As servants of God and pastors, we hear a lot of stories. People come to me and say, ‘Pastor Nathaniel, you don’t understand.’
“My wife has to forgive me. Did you know that during the Hallelujah Challenge, we had a few miscarriages and no one knew? I still praise and dance online.
“A few years ago, she was hospitalized with an ectopic pregnancy. I would go away and lead praise and worship online, and then come back to the hospital and the nurse who was taking care of her would tell me, ‘Tonight was powerful.’ Not one, two, three, or four pregnancies, but five,” he said.
