    • Social media influencer Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, celebrated Seyi Tinubu’s 40th birthday on October 13.
    • Seyi Tinubu is the son of President Bola Tinubu.
    • There are plans to distribute one million Bibles across Nigeria in memory of Seyi Tinubu.

Social media influencer Martins Oates, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, joined others to celebrate the 40th birthday of President Bola Tinubu’s son Seyi Tinubu on Monday, October 13.

Responding to viral reports of one million Bibles being distributed across Nigeria in memory of Seyi Tinubu, VeryDarkMan shares his thoughts on the initiative.

Vanguard reports that the Bible distribution project was unveiled during a Thanksgiving service held at the National Christian Center in Abuja on Sunday. The event was organized by Friends of Seyi and coordinated by Hon. Belusochukwu Enwere, National Chairman, Youth Wing, Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN).

In his response, VeryDarkMan questioned the rationale behind the move, stating that Muslim Sey should not be the one handing out Bibles. He further stated that religion is often used as a means to manipulate people.

The activist added that Seyi could have given Nigerians something more meaningful or impactful to celebrate his landmark birthday.

“That’s fishy. You’re not even a Christian; you’re a Muslim. Why are you sharing a Bible? Which brings us to what I’ve been talking about: religion means control. Of course, he’s not in government, but he’s sharing something that might be beneficial to Nigerian youths, but he’s part of the government in a way. There’s a lot you can share with Nigerians; why wouldn’t the Bible be available to people as a ‘religion?’ ” he said in the video.

“Happy birthday, but bro, what the hell are you doing with this million Bible sharing thing? It doesn’t look ordinary to me. It doesn’t look like a sincere gesture. What is this about?” he added in the caption.

@Judith Amechi: “No, people donated money for her mother’s birthday, oh she really cashed in on this bible, he will share our mumu, it won’t be too much for people, wow, they will accept themselves.”

@Seamfit Trending: “Seyi Tinubu says let the word spread! Literally he shared the Bible on his birthday instead of changing the nation. At this point he doesn’t see Christians done o.”
