    • Nigerian producer Sazi has been criticized after sharing a shirtless photo to promote his new album.
    • One social media user accused him of benefiting from “male privilege”, claiming female artists would not be granted the same freedoms without backlash.
    • In response, Salz humorously fired back: “If it’s your turn, wear agbada!”

Nigerian music producer Sazi has responded to online criticism of his recent shirtless promotional photos for his upcoming album.

One social media user @martinsanumene accused producers of benefiting from “male privilege” on X (formerly Twitter).” In his post, he claimed that Saz was “actually using soft porn and subtle nudity to sell and promote his new album,” noting that such behavior would not be tolerated if it came from a female artist.

“Male privilege runs wild! Anyone who says otherwise has lost their mind,” the tweet read in part.

In response to these criticisms, Sarz cheekily responded via his official X account @beatsbysarz:

“If it’s your turn, wear agbada!”

His comeback went viral, prompting laughter and mixed reactions from fans. While some defend Szaz’s right to artistic expression, others agree with critics who argue that female artists often face double standards when it comes to self-expression and physical expression.
