    • Singer Reekado Banks has commemorated the anniversary of the Lekki Toll Gate Massacre on October 20, 2020, reminding Nigerians to never forget the events of that day.

    Nigerian singer Reekado Banks has taken to social media to commemorate the tragic incident that occurred at Lekki Toll Gate on October 20, 2020, when peaceful #EndSARS protesters were allegedly shot dead by security forces.

    In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), the artist wrote:
    “On October 20, 2020, something happened with the government. They think we forgot, where? Well…”

    His post quickly racked up thousands of views, serving as a reminder of the day many young Nigerians lost their lives and dreams, while calling for an end to police brutality and bad governance.

    Reekado Banks joins other celebrities and activists in continuing to remember the victims of the #EndSARS protests, stressing that the movement remains a symbol of resilience and the demand for justice.
