    • A woman who married her first love at 18 has attracted widespread attention after revealing she became a single mother in her 30s.
    • In a video, she shared that she had four children from her 12-year marriage, but her ex-husband only gave her £50,000 during their marriage and has since abandoned their children.
    • Her story sparked a strong response online, with netizens questioning her account and the circumstances of her early marriage.

A young woman has sparked mixed reactions online after she revealed she married her first love at 18 but became a single mother in her 30s.

In a video that went viral, she shared that her 12-year marriage, with four children, ended in divorce and that her ex-husband only gave her £50,000 throughout the marriage.

She added that he had abandoned the children since the split. Her first child is now in college at the 300 level, but the father “has never been involved in her or her siblings’ lives.”

The video attracted widespread attention, with many questioning both sides of the story.

One user named 5ive wrote: “Apparently her parents got her a bargain when she was 18, which is why she only got £50,000 in 12 years. Now people are toasting girls with more money.”

Ace commented: “I didn’t care until I heard a man’s voice. I don’t trust anything from that gender anymore.”

Samuel added: “Everyone is saying ‘eh’ but no one is asking what happened – is this man alive? Where is he? Why did he leave?”

Emmanuel Ajoku said: “We need to hear this person’s opinion. There are always two sides to every story.”

The fifth god, Amani, asked: “Who allowed her to marry at the age of 18? What prompted this marriage? Where were the counselors or elders when it happened?”

The story continues to gain popularity, reigniting debates about early marriage, responsibility and the realities of single motherhood.
