    • Nigerian Africa House artiste Niniola Apata has responded to rumors surrounding her marital status.
    • There was speculation on social media that she had secretly married and cut back on her public appearances.
    • Niniola confirmed that she is currently single and not yet married.

Nigeria’s African house queen, Niniola Apata, has clarified rumors that she got married secretly.

Social media has been abuzz with talk about the “Maradona” singer allegedly reducing her public profile due to her quiet marriage. But Niniola has now clarified that her sister is very much single.

In a chat with Yanga FM in Lagos, Niniola bluntly stated that there are no hidden husbands in the world. She explained that her break from the spotlight had nothing to do with her marriage and that fans should not jump to conclusions.

The singer laughed off suggestions that she might have kept the alleged marriage a secret to avoid losing bookings or industry clout, saying that was simply not true.

    In her words:

“I don’t care what anyone does or says [about my personal life]. After all, I’m not a 12-year-old kid yet. I have grown up and can say anything I want with a full chest. I’m not married yet. “

Niniola also opened up about why she and sister Teni haven’t collaborated yet despite pleas from fans. According to her, music is business and they will not rush to collaborate just because they are sisters.

She made it clear that when the timing, planning and creative alignment are right, the Apata sisters will give fans the collaboration they’ve been waiting for, and it will be worth the hype.

Niniola said that for now she is locked in and focused on new music, and fans should expect her to return to the stage soon.
