Busola Dakolo, wife of Nigerian singer Timi Dakolo, has shared exciting news about starting a new academic journey.

Busola revealed on her Instagram page on Thursday that she had decided to pursue a PhD, expressing her confidence and determination in the bold move.

    She wrote in the post:

“Wish me all the best. I’ve decided to pursue a PhD. I can and I will.”

Her announcement was met with an outpouring of love and encouragement from friends, fans, and celebrities, who flooded her comments section with prayers and congratulations.

Actress Juliet Ibrahim cheered her on, saying, “You got the girl,” while her husband Timmy Dakolo proudly commented, “A very, very proud husband.”

Other well-wishers also shared uplifting words:

“You are blessed and highly favored. Amen and hallelujah,” @eazeekode wrote.

“Ride Dr. B! You can do it and you will do it,” @fidel_lingerieshop added.

In other news… Nollywood actress and producer Rita Daniels has set social media abuzz after sharing a cryptic video that left fans speculating as to whom her message was directed.

In the video, the mother of popular actress Regina Daniels asks a sobering question: “Why are you acting like God?” Her words are calm but firm, carrying a warning about the consequences of pride, power and arrogance.

The video, which was retweeted by media personality Freeze Daddy on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, quickly went viral, sparking widespread speculation among fans and followers.

Rita said in part: “Why do you have to act like God? The masters of soul, life, and breath are watching from above. In the blink of an eye, you will become lifeless. Ask the strong men of the past, where are they today? High above, where are they today? I thought you would learn from them, but if you don’t learn… you know what makes me happy? You will have no way out.”

Her message, described by many as both powerful and mysterious, has inspired countless interpretations online.

The video was released shortly after reports surfaced about alleged marital problems between Regina Daniels and her billionaire husband, Senator Ned Nwoko. The timing led many to believe Rita’s news could be a subtle response to current rumors.

While some netizens speculated that she was addressing her son-in-law or someone involved in the controversy, others believed that the actress was simply reflecting on power and the fleeting nature of life.

The post quickly spread across Instagram and X (formerly Twitter), prompting a flurry of reactions. Many users praised Rita Daniels for her boldness, while others urged caution, saying that making cryptic information public can often spark unnecessary drama.
