Obi, who attended the funeral held on Friday in Imezi-Owa, Ezeago Local Government Area of Enugu State, said he traveled to Enugu from Lagos that morning to commemorate the late cultural icon, describing his legacy as “profoundly impacting society through his outstanding contributions to culture and music”.
“In the quiet solemnity of that sacred hour, surrounded by his loved ones and his venerable father, we prayed at his graveside and commended his noble soul to Almighty God,” Obi wrote on his official X page.
