Lawyer and activist, Deji Adeyanju has called on FCT Minister Nyesom Wike to urgently repair the road leading to Nyanya Hospital in Abuja.
In a post shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), Adeyanju posted a video showing the untarred and damaged road, lamenting how its poor condition delayed patients from seeking medical treatment.
He criticized the minister’s priorities, saying repairing such vital infrastructure was more important than traveling abroad or appearing in the media.
Adeyanju wrote that solving the problem of poor road conditions was “better than taking kids to Dubai or making noise on TV channels”.
The video subsequently sparked widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians urging the FCT government to take immediate action to repair roads and improve access to hospitals.
