    • Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner Imisi has shared a personal tragedy.
    • She lost her baby less than a month before auditioning for the reality show.
    • The news was revealed during an appearance on a TVC entertainment program.

Big Brother Naija season 10 winner Imisi has opened up about a heartbreaking personal experience that happened shortly before she joined the reality show.

The reality star recently revealed on TVC Entertainment that she suffered a tragic loss, revealing that she lost her baby less than a month before auditioning for BBNaija.

Sharing her emotional ordeal, Imisi said, “I lost my baby in April this year. It was less than a month before the ‘Big Brother’ auditions. It’s so overwhelming. I really don’t want to talk about it.”

Before joining the show, Imissi also confirmed that she ended her relationship with ex-boyfriend Hakeem just weeks before her audition.

On October 5, Imisi was crowned the winner of the 2025 BBNaija edition, taking home the grand prize of £80 million and a brand new SUV.

In other news… Media personality Chioma Ahaghatu has advised poor women in Nigeria not to marry poor men.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, she described the union of “poor man + poor woman” as a tragedy written in sweat and unpaid bills.

Ahahotu said children suffered the most in such marriages due to a lack of care and resources, while women had to fulfill multiple roles – breadwinner, wife, mother, cleaner, cook and therapist.

“If you are a poor Nigerian woman living in Nigeria, honestly you are better off staying single than marrying a poor man because you will suffer. Let me explain,” she wrote.

P00rs are not comfortable. The combination of “poor man + poor woman” is often a tragedy written with sweat and unpaid bills. Once you add kids, the struggles multiply.

Women would be busy going out and contributing and then coming home to be wives, mothers, cleaners, cooks, and therapists, all with empty stomachs and low batteries. The more children there are, the deeper the pain.

Meanwhile, when Papa Obinna comes home, he goes out to enjoy the breeze or watch football.

She would do all the chores and if she dared ask for help, he would say she was nagging him.

This is not your parents’ time and you will suffer. Aguru Ahogianya.

Before you come here to argue, why do you want to resonate with this story so much that you feel personally outraged? Owu ihe oma, two poor people are getting married in 2025. Well, let me advise you. “
