An event promoter in Paris has publicly criticized Nigerian artist Kizz Daniel after he allegedly failed to perform at a scheduled show and made a series of extravagant demands.
In a video circulating online, the promoter claims Kizz Daniel asked for seafood before leaving the hotel and refused to use the transport arranged for him, instead insisting on a Rolls Royce or Range Rover.
Organizers revealed that the singer was paid €80,000 (approximately £135 million) for her performance. After the initial payment, Kizz Daniel reportedly asked for an additional €5,000 to cover his flight, which was provided. He later allegedly missed his flight and asked for an additional €2,000, which was also paid.
The sponsor described the situation:
“Kizz Daniel insisted on having seafood before heading to the venue and threatened to leave the hotel if his demands were not met. Even after a van was arranged, he refused to use it and instead requested a Rolls Royce or Range Rover.”
According to reports, despite all arrangements and payments, Daniel arrived late to Paris and ended up not performing.
The promoters publicly requested compensation:
“I ask everyone to urge him to refund my money. He was late and did not perform after receiving 80,000 euros. The refund must be made immediately.”
The accusations sparked heated debate on social media, with many Nigerians expressing their displeasure and calling on Kiz Daniel to respond to the accusations.
