The couple shared the exciting news on the movie star’s Instagram page, along with a photo of themselves and their newborn. Yetunde Barnabas revealed that their son was born on November 12, 2025.
The actress expressed her heartfelt gratitude, writing:

The senator provided details and documents in addressing the dispute, asserting that Regina Daniels would be 27 today when she was 21 when she got married six years ago.

Senator Nwoko said that during his initial meeting with Regina Daniels, he directly asked her age and requested documents. He posted a picture of an INEC voter card, which he claimed Regina had given him, detailing her date of birth.
The senator stated:
“For the sake of clarity, during my first meeting with Regina, I asked her age and she told me she was 21. I further asked her if she had any documentation to prove this and she produced her inec voter card, which clearly stated she was born on October 10, 1998. I told her I would keep this document and I have done so from that day on.”
He added that he had also reviewed a BBC interview Regina Daniels’ mother gave about her age after their marriage.
Deny marriage to minors and call for caution
Senator Nwoko categorically denies the allegation of underage marriage:
“According to all verifiable records, our marriage took place six years ago, which means Regina would be 27 years old today. Any suggestion that I married her at 17 is false and should not be accepted by the public. The facts are verifiable and indisputable.”
The senator also urged the public to treat all recent claims by Regina Daniels with wisdom.h “caution and discernment”, Tying her credibility to her current mental state and alleged drug use:
“Until then, I urge the public to treat all of her claims with caution and discernment, especially given her current mental condition and having begun and abandoned rehab for an illegal drug addiction.”
Senator Nwoko concluded by stressing that his position and the facts presented were verifiable and indisputable.
