- Sarah Martins offered her a high salary but immediately fired the woman, stating that intelligence was more profitable than looks.
- She advises young women that while having a “big niyash” may create opportunities, “wisdom and humility” are needed to maintain those opportunities.

Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has spoken out against the practice of prioritizing physical enhancement over career advancement after meeting job seekers, saying such a mentality is detrimental to success.
The movie star told how she almost hired a young woman as a sales manager at a high salary, but changed her decision after learning about the woman’s main life ambition.
Martins said:
“I asked an excellent girl where she sees herself in five years, and she told me confidently and arrogantly that she wanted to go to Turkey 🇹🇷 to reshape her body. This is the person I almost hired as my sales manager with a high monthly salary and was fired as soon as I was discharged from the hospital.”
The actress sent a strong message to ladies about material things over appearance, emphasizing inner qualities as the key to continued success:
“Wisdom is more profitable than the Nish! But if you are lucky enough to have both wisdom and the Nish, then you will be unstoppable! The Nish will create opportunities, but wisdom and humility will sustain it”.
