    • Rema sparked reactions online when she posted a cryptic message about people moving once they make money.
    • The post was shared alongside photos of him and resurfaced photos of him and Ella Starr, leading fans to believe he was subtly shaming her into moving to New York. Ella’s response sparked speculation.

Nigerian afrobeat sensation divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has sparked widespread comments on social media after posting a cryptic message that fans linked to the recent relocation of his label mate Ayra Starr.

Ayra Starr recently confirmed she is moving from Nigeria to New York City to further her global music career. Shortly after the news gained traction, Rema shared a reflective post, possibly commenting on the impact of financial success on community relations.

Rema’s post included a selfie that read:

“Love your neighbor as yourself, but once you have money, you change your neighbor. No, wam”

The news quickly received a direct response from Ayra Starr on the platform. Initially, she posted a skull emoji, often used to express strong emotion or shock, followed by a personal hashtag:

    Ella responded first:

    “wait…”

    What follows is more expressive:

    “Remiyiyi”

In other news… Media personality CeeC opens up about life after leaving the Big Brother Naija house, sharing how fame, public expectations and personal growth have impacted her journey over the years.

In a recent interview with @echooroom_, CeeC said her decision to join the reality show wasn’t a pursuit of celebrity status or a return to a legal career. She said she just wanted to experience the process.

“For me, I just wanted to get into the house, experience it, learn as much as I could. I wasn’t even willing to go back and practice law.” she said.

She described the unexpected attention she received after leaving home.

“When we came out, it was like, ‘What now? Celebrities.’ I met people I’d seen on TV before So different. I’m grateful that I have the right people around me to help me manage fame and everything that comes with it. ” she added.

CeeC also highlighted one of the biggest challenges she faces: constantly being identified as a “BBNaija star” while trying to build her brand outside of the show.

“I don’t know if one day I will be seen as more than just a BBNaija star. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing because this platform has given us so much.” she explained.

She noted that online viewers tend to emphasize a contestant’s Big Brother status first, regardless of their current achievements.

“If you look at the Instagram blog, the first thing they say about someone like Teddy is ‘Big Brother,’ even though that’s what he does now. It’s the same for me Still BBNaija. But this is my life today. We keep moving forward. “
