    • Nigerian reality TV personality Mercy Eke is open about having children outside of marriage.
    • She stated on the podcast that if she became pregnant before marriage, she would keep one of the children.
    • She clarified that while she’s open to the possibility, it’s not something she actively desires.

Nigerian reality TV personality, Mercy Eke has revealed that she is open to the idea of having a baby outside of marriage.

During a recent podcast episode, the Big Brother Naija season 4 winner shared that if she had gotten pregnant before getting married, she would have chosen to keep the baby, even though it wasn’t something she actively wished for.

Ek also said that having a child out of wedlock would not have a negative impact on her, suggesting that the social stigma of single motherhood primarily affects women facing financial hardship.

“I wouldn’t go the extra mile to get pregnant out of wedlock. But if it did happen, I would give it up and have my kids. I want three kids; two girls and a boy or three girls. I like girls.

“Even if I didn’t get married, I would have kids. What most people don’t know is that the stigma of single motherhood only applies to women who have not had it easy in life.

“Women [single mothers] Those glasses were broken and the men were begging for their marriage. I could get married tomorrow if I wanted to. But what I want in a man, I haven’t seen yet. It’s not like there are no suitors. There’s a lot of that… So, even if I had kids, I would still see a man. ” she expressed.
