Joseph Aloba, father of late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mobade, has said DNA testing is the most important factor in determining the next step in his son’s case, which is final burial.
The statement reiterated the family’s position that conclusive DNA testing of Mohrbad’s children must be conducted before his body can be buried.
Mr Aloba has been outspoken about the need for DNA testing during the investigation into his son’s controversial death and the public controversy over the child’s paternity.
He made it clear that the results of the DNA test will determine when burial can take place:
“The DNA test is the most important thing. Once completed, Mobadd will be buried.”
